I actually had a dream last night that Fulham was going to win 1-0, strangest thing. Hope i'm right

Looks like a decent weekend.

TOTTENHAM +1.25 over chelsea at 1.90
3 words: Chelsea are overrated.
Tottenham's home defeat by Fulham has put Glenn Hoddle under pressure, and if he loses a few more everyone will be after him. Chelsea also need more time to gel. Everyone expects them to be the new Real Madrid of England right away, but these things take time. Tottenham are a decent team but have had a bad start to the season. By no means do I think Tottenahm will win but the +1.25 is a lot, I can see them losing by one goal no problem.
0.5 UNITS to win 0.45
CHELSEA WINS 2-1

LIVERPOOL even ball over blackburn at 2.00
I liked the way liverpool played last week
I outlined some of the reasons below.
1 UNIT to win 1

EVERTON/LIVERPOOL over 2.5 at 1.95
REASON: Liverpool have finally got the guts to try some attacking play and the likes of Michael Owen, Milan Baros, Harry Kewell, El-Hadji Diouf and Vladimir Smicer are more than enough proof of the attacking potential Liverpool has. As for Owen I believe he is becoming more confident and more goals should follow. I was impressed by the way Liverpool played last week winning 3-0 over everton. Before that they went 2 games at 0-0. As for Blackburn, all their games this season have easily gone over 3 goals. Against Chelsea it was 2-2. Against Man City 2-3. Against Wolves 5-1. So blackburn have no trouble scoring. Then its all up to Liverpool and I think they will score lots and win the game.
LIVERPOOL WINS 2-1.

FULHAM +0.5 to beat birmingham at 1.80
My dream said so. lol
FULHAM WINS 1-0
0.50 UNITS to win 0.40

FULHAM to win 1-0
1 pound to win 8

SOUTHAMPTON to beat wolves at 1.61
1 UNIT to win 1.61 (replaced newcastle pick with this one)

MANCHESTER UNITED to beat charlton at 1.61
I can't remember the last time Man Utd lost 2 games in a row. They also have to keep up with Arsenal in the title race after the slip up against Southampton last weekend. Man Utd have some injury worries including Kleberson, Butt and Scholes but they have quality players to replace them. I can't see Man Utd losing this one - and as for trends go, Charlton have not beaten Man Utd in 8 games they have played.
MAN UTD win 3-0
1 UNIT to win 0.61

Well good luck to everybody. I have spent time on these write-ups and hopefully you can spend time to comment on them and we can get a nice discussion going.

excellent writeups.

disagree about newcastle and I follow them. Think they are a mess. One thing I've discovered about the premiership...don't bet on a team to reverse a slide UNTIL they do it first. So the bet is with Everton to win at home and further enrage the Newcastle fans.

Like Man UTD to win - 1.5 + 120 too.

good luck!

Interesting point there.
I also think newcastle is a mess but I think there is lots of value on the even ball. I dont think newcastle will lose, most likely result is a tie.

watch out man utd have some critical injuries...
Good luck

As for me, I never bet on weekend after qualifying matches. Most of teams had 2 matches, players are tired. There are always strange results after qualifying matches. Basically, it would be better to bet on teams which are not leaders (like MU, Arsenal, Real, etc.). Personally, I like Southhampton to win.

still think MAN UTD wins by 2 but I won't bet as much given all the injuries.

do you know if Rooney is playing in the Everton match? Thought he was.

I like Chelsea to cream Tot and have backed them - 1.5 EV to do just that. Do you ever play the unders? A few games look under to me, especially southhampton...

yup Rooney is playing...
i dont play unders too much for the simple reason i hate cheering for a low scoring game.
Southampton look good. i might replace my Newcastle pick with them.

GREAT DAY! 4-1, + 3.67 units!
All time record: 24-15, +7.32
Would have been 5-0 if Chelsea (hasselbaink) hadnt scored in the last minute but I can't complain.
More coming up tomorrow!
